FRANK JESSICK RITES OCTOBER 4 Victim of a lengthy illness, Frank Jessick, a Blair painter, died Oct. 2 at his home, 215 East Lincoln St. He had worked with Martin Nelson from 1947 until his health failed him 5 months ago.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Oct. 4, at the First Methodist church. The Rev. Homer L. Dickersen officiating.

Son of John and Mary Jessick, he was born April 3, 1901 at Strickland, Wis. He lived here until he was 17 years old when he moved to Minneapolis.

He served in the army in 1920 and 21. He and Ruth Maxwell of Tekamah were married August 7, 1926 at Glenwood, Iowa and moved to Herman. They lived at Herman until coming to Blair in 1942.

Surviving Mr. Jessick are his wife, Ruth; one daughter, Mrs. Dale Sheets (Phyllis) of Blair; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Jessick of Weyerhaeuser, Wis.; five brothers, Andy and Phil of Minneapolis; Tom of Chicago; Joe and Stanley of Weyerhaeuser and four sisters, Mrs. Kathryn Lindell, Mrs. Ann Grant and Mrs. Agnes Tyssee, all of Minneapolis; and Mrs. Julia Daniels of St. Paul, Minn. All were present for the funeral with the exception of the aged parents and Joe and Stanley.

The pallbearers were Floyd Stricklett, Martin Nelson, Axel Nielson, Jim Williby, Claude Everett, Tekamah; Boyd Lewis of Herman.
