DANIEL MURRAY RITES MONDAY

Daniel Murray, a native of Washington County, died Tuesday, Oct. 3, as the result of a heart attack.

Deceased was born on the old Murray homestead west of Blair, and at his death was seventy one years of age.

He was an invalid for thirteen months before his death. He had for something like fifteen years made his home with the Kelly sisters of Dexterville. He suffered a stroke about ten years ago from which he never fully recovered and which finally caused his death.

Deceased leaves one sister who is a resident of Washington, DC. She is the last of a large family of children.

Up to the time of his stroke ten years ago he was a farmer. He was a devoted member of the Catholic church and he lived the life of a true Christian.

Funeral services were held Monday at 9 a.m. from the Catholic church, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.
