GEORGE HENRY SCHMIDT DIED TUESDAY

Came From Germany, Lived For a Time In Cincinnati

Funeral services for George Henry Schmidt, 77, who suffered a light stroke on Monday and was taken to the Dodge County Community hospital and passed away Tuesday morning, were held Friday afternoon at 12:30 at the home and 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran church north of Arlington. Rev. Carl Hellman officiated, with burial in the church cemetery.

Mr. Schmidt was born in Germany and lived for a time in Cincinnati before coming to Arlington. His wife and one son preceded him in death. Surviving are one son, Leo Schmidt of Arlington and a daughter, Mrs. Emil Just, also of Arlington. Reckmeyer and Son Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
