MRS. J. R. MURPHY BURIED AT DECATUR

Mrs. Jane Rhodus Murphy died Aug. 3, 1950, after a short illness in the Methodist hospital in Omaha.

Deceased was born October 8, 1873 in Missouri. She was married to Levi Murphy, who preceded her in death 23 years ago.

Six children are living, Mrs. Roy Spanton, Blair; Mrs. Gladys Holbrook, Omaha; Mrs. Paul Johnson, Macy, Neb.; Mrs. Fred McGee, Omaha; Hershel Murphy and Mrs. Falk Clausen, both of Blair.

Eighteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, also one brother, George Rhodus of Denver, Colorado survive.

Funeral rites were held in the Christian church on Saturday, August 8th, with Rev. Cox assisted by Rev. Ralph Kersey of the local Christian church, and interment under the supervision of the Campbell Mortuary was made in the Decatur cemetery.
