THOMAS W. BARGER VICTIM OF STROKE

Thomas Wesley Barger died suddenly of a stroke on the morning of July 4th at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Cyrus Anderson of East Nebraska street.

Deceased was born in Harrison county, Iowa in 1876 where he spent his early childhood. The family later moved to Blair. 28 years ago he moved to Tekamah where he lived until four years ago when he moved back to Blair.

In his active years he was section foreman on the railroad, which position he held for over 20 years.

The survivors are two brothers living in Tekamah and two sisters and one daughter, Mrs. Cyrus Anderson of Blair.

Funeral services will be held at The Bendorf Funeral Home at 2 p.m. this Thursday afternoon with Rev. Ralph Kersey officiating, and interment will be made in the Blair cemetery.
