MRS. OPAL REEVES DIED AUGUST 19TH

Patient Sufferer For Eleven Years. Heart Attack.

Mrs. Opal Reeves, after suffering for eleven years as the result of a stroke, passed away last Saturday morning at 11:45.

She had spent years bedfast, but the past year had seen a marked improvement, and she had been brought to her home where she continued to improve until she was able to get about the house in a wheelchair. The end came suddenly and unexpectedly.

Stella Winifred Bunn was born July 23, 1895 to Mr. and Mrs. Ben Bunn on the old home place near the Kindred school north of Blair. Here her early life was spent and she received her early education. She attended the Blair High school from which she graduated in 1913.

After her graduation, she took up teaching and for a time she taught in Iowa and later in her home county.

On June 16, 1920 she was married to Opal Reeves, and to them three children were born, Eunice, who is a nurse at the University Hospital in Omaha; Max, who resides at Colon, Nebraska; and Janice, who is a senior in the Blair High school. These children, with the husband, her mother, Mrs. Mary Bunn; her sister, Mrs. A. R. Beales and her brother, Byron Bunn are left to mourn her passing.

She was a past member of the O.E.S. and of the V.F.W. Auxiliary, and when in health was faithful in her obligations.

Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Methodist church in Blair with Rev. Homer Dickerson officiating, and burial under the supervision of the Campbell Mortuary, was made in the Blair cemetery.
