FUNERAL SERVICES FOR PAUL MEYER TUESDAY

Arlington - Funeral services for Paul Meyer, an old time resident of this place, who died on February 24 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Roscoe B. Pearce, in Emerson, Nebraska, were held here on Tuesday afternoon at four o’clock from the Reckmeyer Funeral Chapel with the Rev. A. W. Clark officiating.

Mr. Meyer was born at Aldorf, Germany in March, 1866; he was married to Emma Kellerman at Detroit, Michigan, and came to Arlington in 1900, and by trade was a cigar maker. Seven children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Meyer, six of whom survive him. They are Mrs. H. Rhea Gilfry and Mrs. C. C. Cook, both of this place; Mrs. Roscoe B. Pearce of Emerson; Mrs. James Cornelius and Otto K. Meyer, both of Petaluma, California; and Ernest A. Meyer of Omaha. Mrs. Meyer preceded her husband in death on July 3, 1929.

Interment was made in the Arlington cemetery. Out of town relatives who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe B. Pearce and son, Byron of Emerson; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Meyer and daughter, Patricia of Omaha; Mrs. Karl Glanzel and Mrs. R. F. Krause of Omaha; Mrs. Merton Cornelius and daughter, and her father, Chris Rasmussen of Fremont.
