Mrs. Glen Cole passed away at a hospital in Omaha Saturday after a short illness. The deceased, as Stella Maude Brown, was born in Blair March 2, 1887, and had been a residence of the city all of her life.

In June 1907 she was married to Glen Cole. About twelve years ago she and her husband adopted a son who since has made his home with them.

She was a member of the Christian Church.

Surviving her are her husband, a son, Orville, a sister, Mrs. Aaron Daue of Mo. Valley; also other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted from the Methodist Church Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. Walter Jackson officiating. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Stella Maude Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen I. Brown was born in Blair, Nebraska Mar. 2nd, 1887, and died in Omaha Feb. 27, 1932 at the hospital where she had gone to make a desperate fight for life. She was 44 years, 11 months and 25 days old.

She was resident of Blair all her life, and received her education in the public schools here.

She was married to Glen D. Cole June 2, 1907. She had no children, but with her husband, took a little baby boy into their hearts and home nearly twelve years ago.

She was a member of the Christian church, and lived her faith in service to her neighbors where ever help was needed.

She leaves her husband, Glen Cole and son, Orville C. of Blair; one sister, Mrs. Aaron Daub of Missouri Valley, Iowa; one uncle, Edward Wild of Blair; one aunt, Mrs. Amanda Leslie of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. from the Methodist Episcopal church, with pastor in charge. Interment was made in the Blair cemetery.
