ANTON ANDERSEN OF ARLINGTON DIES

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Bendorf Funeral Home and the Lutheran church in Kennard for Anton Andersen, who passed away at his home in Arlington Sunday afternoon, March 19, at the age of 70 years, 22 days.

Mr. Andersen had been in poor health since he suffered a stroke four months ago.

He was born February 25, 1880 in Denmark, He was baptized in the Lutheran faith and came to America at the age of 10.

He spent his early years in the Orum vicinity where he was united in marriage to Sena Svendgaard on February 27, 1907. They lived on a farm in the March school district for 37 years after which they retired to Arlington where he has lived for the past seven years.

One daughter passed away in infancy.

He leaves to mourn his passing one son, Ansel of Arlington; six daughters, Eulala, Mrs. Harry Wulf; Ethel, Mrs. Howard Hoier; SeƱora, Mrs. Raymond Hilgenkamp; all of Arlington; Patricia, Mrs. Wm. Monke of Fontanelle; Florence, Mrs. Howard Lyons of Denver, Col.; and Edna of Seattle, Wash. One brother, A. P. Andersen of Bloomington, Calif. Eleven grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
