NELS D. PETERSON OF KENNARD DIES

Kennard - Nels D. Peterson, 86, long-time resident of the Kennard community, died Sunday at Doctor’s hospital in Omaha.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Methodist church here.

Born in Sweden, Mr. Peterson came to the United States when a youth. He lived in the Kennard area 50 years. He farmed and ran a butcher shop.

Since the death of his wife in 1945, Mr. Peterson has lived with his daughter, Mrs. B. H. Glissman in Omaha.

Survivors include two sons, Leonard of Kennard and Raymond of St. Louis; and two daughters, Mrs. Glissman and Mrs. Roland Holmes of Atkinson, Kan.
