H. H. GIESSELMAN RITES THURSDAY

Arlington - Herman H. Giesselman, Arlington farmer for whom funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon, was born Jan. 6, 1866 at Herford, Germany.

He was confirmed in 1880 in the Lutheran church in Germany. He came to the United States at the age of 16.

Mr. Giesselman was married Feb. 12, 1892 to Anna Beugholt in Washington county. She died in 1946.

Mr. Giesselman was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church north of Arlington.

He died Monday at the Dodge County Community hospital after a few days’ illness.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the home and at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran church with Rev. Carl Hellmann officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Lutheran church cemetery. William A. Reckmeyer and son of Arlington are in charge.

Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Henry Flake, Mrs. John Gruenke, Mrs. Howard Franke, Mrs. Fred Bartling and Ella Giesselman, and four sons, Edward, Martin, Walter and Paul. One son, William, also preceded Mr. Giesselman in death.
