#1- Published in the Blair Pilot 04/26/1922 A telegram was received Sunday morning of the serious illness of Mrs. Asa Dixon, Sr. of Los Angeles Calif. And, in the evening, another came announcing the death. Mrs. Asa Dixon, Jr., her daughter, left Monday morning for Los Angeles and the body will probably be brought here for burial according to the terms of her will.

Amanda Catherine Green was born near Portsmouth, Ohio, 59 years ago last February. She was married to Henry Sheets at the age of 24, and three years later, they came to this county. He has been dead for many years.

Three years ago this month she was married to Asa Dixon, sr., who survives her; also four daughters, J. P. Flynn of Benson, Mrs. Asa Dixon, Jr. of Blair, Mrs. Jam Connely of Blair and Mrs. Chas. Gustin of Los Angeles and one son, Clarence Sheets of Los Angeles. Also, one sister, Mrs. Mary Pyles of Herman and one brother, James Green of Crockked, Mont.

#2-27 Apr., 1922 - The Enterprise - Mrs. Asa Dixon, Sr.,

Word was received by relatives here of the serious illness and death of Mrs. Asa Dixon, Sr. of Los Angeles, Cal. on last Sunday. Her daughter, Mrs. Asa Dixon, Jr. went out there on Monday and the particulars have not been learned. She leaves besides her husband, four daughters, Mrs. Dixon, Mrs. P. J. Flynn of Benson, Mrs. James Conety of Blair, Mrs. Chas. Austin of Los Angeles and one son, Clarence also of Los Angeles. Mrs. Mary Pyles of Herman is a sister.
