CHRIS RASMUSSEN RITES WEDNESDAY

Chris Rasmussen, formerly of Washington county, died Saturday afternoon at his home in Fremont. He had been in ill health since last June.

Deceased was born in Horsens, Denmark on June 4, 1866, and came to America at the age of 18 years. He married Emma Zetta Neff on November 14, 1894.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Howard L. of Burbank, California; and Harold W. of Blair; two daughters, Mrs. Merton Cornelius of Omaha and Mrs. Merle Newkirk of Arlington; a brother, Henry of Herman; a sister Mrs. Sorensen of Blair; twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held from the Bader Funeral Home in Fremont, and interment was made in the Ridge Cemetery.
