EPHRAIM O. GILLIAM

Ephraim Obadiah Gilliam passed away at an Omaha hospital Nov. 23, 1949, at the age of 54 years and 28 days. He was the son of the late Charlie and Katie Gilliam of Blair who preceded him in death. He was married May 2, 1916 to Sarah Axtell of Blair.

To this union ten children were born, two preceding him in death. He leaves to mourn his death his wife, Sarah; four daughters, Katie ad Grace at home; Mrs. Don Martin (Stella) of Omaha; Mrs. Charles St. Peter (Maxine) of Springfield, Mass.; four sons, Harold; Ephraim, Jr.; Norman and Charles of Omaha; five grandchildren; also four sisters and one brother: Mrs. Sam Moore, Mrs. S. I. Moore, Dorothy Mencking, Gladys Fitch and Louis Gilliam, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at two o’clock in the Christian Church with Campbell Mortuary in charge.
