FREDERICK KEGLER DIED AUG. 29

Frederick Kegler, prominent farmer of the Cuming City neighborhood, died Monday, August 29, in the Immanuel Hospital in Omaha where he had been a patient since Tuesday of the previous week.

Deceased was a native of the county and had passed his 71st birthday last June. He was married to Frieda Grosshaeme on Feb. 23, 1910 in Omaha, and they immediately took up farming on the fine farm where they have since resided.

Five children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Kegler, Dorothy, Mrs. Jess Snyder of Fremont; F. W. Jr., of Council Bluffs, Iowa; George at home; Ruth, who is an Army nurse and stationed at Battle Creek, Michigan; Gene, Mrs. Harry Snyder of Fremont. All are married except George who is at home and Ruth, the nurse.

Besides the immediate family, he leaves a brother, Caesar, and three sisters, Mrs. Lester Barton, Mrs. Otto Kuhl and Mrs. William Gustin.

Deceased was a member of the Methodist church and really lived the part.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Bendorf Funeral Home with Rev. H. L. Dickerson officiating, and interment will be made in the Blair cemetery.

The children were all home for the funeral rites. Ruth, who is stationed at Battle Creek, Michigan, came Wednesday by plane. The gathering at the beautiful farm home was great comfort to the bereaved mother.
