MRS. HINDMARSH, 61, DIES 3 WEEKS AFTRER HUSBAND

Mrs. Josephine May Hindmarsh, 61, died Monday afternoon at her home in Arlington following a lingering illness. Her husband, Clyde Grey Hindmarsh, died just three weeks ago.

Josephine Holland, daughter of Sarah and Henry Holland, was born on a farm near Herman on October 19, 1887. She attended the Herman and Arlington schools. Following her graduation, she assisted Dr. R. A. Davies in his office.

On April 5, 1911 she married Clyde Grey Hindmarsh at the Methodist parsonage in Omaha. They lived on the Hindmarsh farm in the Lone Tree District for seven years. In September of 1918 they built their present home.

She was a member of the Arlington Methodist church and a member of the Royal Neighbor Lodge of which she held the key office of Oracle for many years. She was a charter member and very active in the Lone Tree Project club.

Survivors are two sons, Keith, on a farm nearby and Duane at home; mother, Mrs. Sarah Holland of Springfield, South Dakota; four brothers, William of Benicia, Cal.; George of Spokane, Wash.; Theodore of Norwood, Minn.; and Clarence of Bakersfield, Cal.; several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Services will be held Friday afternoon at the Methodist church at 2:30 with Robert Schlichter, minister, officiating. Mrs. Alvin Anderson and Miss Lucy Lawson will sing “In The Garden" and “Going Home” accompanied by Mrs. Allen W. Laaker.
