MRS. MARIAN CROSBY DIED JULY 28TH

Mrs. Marian Crosby, a guest at the Crowell Home, died this Thursday morning, July 28th. She was born in Scarboro, Ontario, Canada on January 27, 1863, and was thus eighty six years of age at her death.

In 1894 she was married to P. F. Crosby, the marriage taking place in Kansas where the family had moved. They moved to Blair in 1898 where they lived until 1904.

In 1904 they moved to St. Paul where they lived until moving back to Blair and to the Crowell Home twenty three years ago. The husband died in 1938.

Three children survive, Ella Claycomb of Omaha; Hartley Crosby of Portland, Oregon; and Lydia Freehand of San Diego, California; also a brother, J. F. Badgerow of Omaha and two sisters, Mrs. Ella McDonald of Toronto, Canada and Mrs. Adeline Tyson of Blair.

As yet arrangements are not complete for the funeral services which will be in charge of the Bendorf Funeral Home.
