OBITUARY W.E. HAIN, MERCER, DIES AT HOSPITAL; ILL FOR TWO YEARS

Watson E. Hain, 64 year old farmer from north of Mercer, died Sunday evening at an Omaha hospital. He had been ill for over two years and was in the hospital for almost two months.

Mr. Hain was born July 3, 1884, at Blair and lived in Washington and Douglas counties for his entire life. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Fremont.

Survivors other than his wife, Hazel, at home, are three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Legg of Sonora, Calif., Juanita and Phyllis at home; two step-sons, Raymond Rolfs of Valley and Theodore Rolfs of Manden, ND; four grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Forhney of IA, Miss Edith Hain of Blair, Mrs. Walter (Betty) Appleby, Fremont and Mrs. Edward (Emma) Haller of Pasadena, Calif., and two brothers, Howard Hain of Fremont and George Hain of Pasadena, CA.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday at Ban Lawson Funeral Chapel. Burial is to be at the Blair Cemetery.
