H. H. LAAKER DIES JUNE 17

Herman H. Laaker was born December 25, 1878 and passed away suddenly Friday morning, June 17, 1949. Services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Methodist church in Arlington with Rev. Robert Schlicter, pastor, officiating.

Miss Lucy Lawson and Mrs. Alvin Anderson sang “Beautiful Isle of Somewhere” and “The Old Rugged Cross” accompanied by Mrs. Allen W. Laaker at the piano.

Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Vernon and Floyd Laaker of Omaha and one daughter, Mrs. Genevieve Hosch of Fremont, and several grandchildren.

Pallbearers were George Schoettger, Walter Brown, Lawrence Menking, John Walkenhorst, Charles Gottsch and Wm. Chapman.
