FORMER TAVERN OPERATOR BURIED

Clarence McGuire, 40, will be buried in the Blair Cemetery tomorrow (Friday) following services at 2 o’clock.

Clarence McGuire, former Blair tavern operator, passed away suddenly in Omaha Tuesday morning. He was the victim of a heart attack.

The deceased was born at Giltner, Nebraska, October 5, 1908, where he spent the years of his youth. He came to the vicinity of Kennard about 25 years ago, entering business in Blair some time later.

For many years he operated a tavern at Blair, moving to Omaha but a few months ago where he had been working as an elevator operator in the Salvation Army headquarters.

He is survived by his wife, Vaunciele.
