MRS. C. U. COOK DIES AT ARLINGTON

Mrs. C U. Cook, 66, long time resident of the Arlington vicinity, passed away Tuesday after an illness of about six months. She had been hospitalized for two weeks.

Born at Howells December 6, 1882 as Amy Eleanor Krajicek, she was married to Cortez U. Cook on March 7, 1903. The couple lived on a farm southeast of Arlington since their marriage.

Survivors include the widower, three sons, William S. and Lawrence M. of Arlington and Joe R. of Malmo; two daughters, Mrs. Elmer G. Scheer of Fremont and Mrs. Norma Wolles of Grand Island; four brothers, Joseph Krajicek of Arlington, Stephene and Lewis of Casper and Dr. Ben Krajicek of Scribner; two sisters, Mrs. Ross Marshall of Fremont and Mrs. Elmer Lyne of Long Beach, Calif.; and 12 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at the First Congregational church Thursday at 2 p.m. with Dr. E. Merle Adams officiating. Burial is to be in the Arlington cemetery. W. A. Reckmeyer and Son are in charge of arrangements.
