CHRIS BERGMAN, 64, DIED MAY 15TH

Chris Bergmann, 64, of Washington, a resident of that vicinity all his life, died Sunday, May 15, at the home of Ed Goedeker.

Mr. Bergmann was born February 8, 1885, and was baptized in the Lutheran faith. He farmed on the same place until he retired and moved to Washington, Nebr. with his sister, Maggie, who has always lived with him. Funeral services were held last Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Washington Community church. Interment was in Blair cemetery.

Mr. Bergman is survived by 4 sisters, Miss Maggie Bergmann of Washington, Mrs. Adela Goedeker, also of Washington, Mrs. Mary Cunningham of Arlington, and Mrs. Emma Rathmann of Bloomfield, Nebr.
