H. W. MARSHALL PASSED AWAY

One of Nursery Founders

Arlington - Harvey W. Marshall, 82, and a resident of Omaha, died May 18th at his home. Deceased was born in Ohio on April 18, 1867 and came to this county in 1880 with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Clark Marshall.

He was married to Allie Snodgrass in Arlington in 1903 where they resided until twenty years ago when they moved to Omaha where Mr. Marshall had charge of the Omaha branch office of the Marshall Nurseries.

He was an active member of the firm of which he was treasurer until two years ago when he retired.

He was a graduate of a Shenandoah, Ia. business college and a member of the Congregational Church, the Rotary Club and the Masonic lodge. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Wm. Sloan of Eugene, Ore., two grandchildren, two brothers, George of Arlington and Chester of Fremont; also two sisters, Mrs. Mel Whitford of Lincoln and Mrs. W. A. Whitford of Arlington. One brother, Austin of California preceded him in death just a few weeks ago.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, and interment was made in the Forest Lawn cemetery of Omaha.
