To this union four children were born. After their marriage they lived near Blair for a year, then moved to a farm near Winside. Mr. Wiese was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith, and was a member of the First English Lutheran church in Omaha at the time of his death.

One son, Ted, his parents, and two sisters preceded him in death.
