RITES HELD FOR EMMA ARMSTRONG

Emma Francis Armstrong, daughter of Joseph and Martha Allen, was born in Indiana November 4, 1866. At two years of age she moved with her parents to a homestead in Nebraska northwest of Blair.

On march 25, 1885, she was united in marriage to John W. Armstrong. The couple lived in Washington County until 1934, at which time they moved to Fremont, residing here until the time of Mrs. Armstrong’s death.

She died March 25, 1949 on the 64th anniversary of her wedding day. She leaves behind, besides her husband, one son, Lynn D., a grandson, Wm. Russell, a great grandson, Neal Russell and one brother, George Allen of Ault, Colorado.
