MRS. SOREN C. COOK RITES AT DENVER

Winifred Emma Stewart was born in Kennard, Nebr. on April 26, 1894. She was the daughter of the late Dick and Lucy Stewart. She received her education at the Kennard Public school, then went to Blair to Miss Dora Black’s sewing school. In 1913 she married Soren C. Cook, also of Kennard. In 1920 they moved to Colorado where she has resided since. Mrs. Cook died suddenly Feb. 24, 1949 at 6. a.m.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Marjorie of San Diego, Calif. and Mary Jane of Denver; two grandchildren, Nancy and Gary Guen of Denver; two sisters, Mrs. Claar LeCrone of Florence, Nebr. and Mrs. Wm. Nelsen of Downing, Calif., and a brother, Don C. Stewart of Denver.

Funeral services and burial were held in Denver Feb. 26. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Menking, Mrs. Walter Jensen of Audubon, Ia., and Mrs. Hans Sorenson of Kennard went to Denver Friday to attend the funeral services.
