RITES IN HOOPER FOR MRS. SCHEER

Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Amelia Scheer, 87, who died Thursday evening at her farm home three miles north of Fontanelle, were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Wellmer and Warne funeral home at Hooper.

There also were services at 2 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran church east of Hooper. Rev. E. Eckhardt officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Born Oct. 13, 1861 at Quincy, Ill., Mrs. Scheer married Henry Scheer in 1883. She has lived on the farm north of Fontanelle for the past 66 years. Mr. Scheer died five years ago.

Survivors include four sons, Fred of Ewing, William of Norfolk, Henry of Herman and Walter of Fontanelle; three daughters, Mrs. William Wilkening of Arlington, Mrs. Ernest Panning of Winslow and Emma of Fontanelle; a sister, Mrs. Anna Busch, Quincy, Ill.; 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
