#1-5 Oct., 1910 - The Pilot - Harry (or) Henry H. Morris

Harry H. Morris died at North Platte, Neb. on Tuesday of last week, and the body was brought here for interment last Thursday. He was a brakeman on the road and six of his fellow workmen came with the body as pallbearers. He died of typhoid fever. He was 20 years of age and leaves a young wife only. He was raised here and Mrs. Jud Wentworth is his aunt.

IS BURIED HERE

Succumbing to an attack of typhoid pneumonia, Henry Morris, a former resident of Blair passed away at his home in North Platte Monday night. The remains were brought to Blair for burial Thursday, and services were held from the Catholic church. Henry Morris was born in this city twenty seven years ago. During most of the past fifteen years he has made his home in Fremont, being employed as a brakeman on the Northwestern. Two years ago he moved to North Platte where he has been serving as a switchman on the Union Pacific. His death followed an illness of about a week’s duration. He is survived by his wife, two sisters and two brothers.

Note: The Vig notes at the Danish American Archives has his death date recorded as 26 Sept 1910 and his wives name as Clara Rhodes. No burial records were located.
