R. Broderson died very suddenly last Friday night as a result of a stroke of paralysis, and was buried in the Thone cemetery on Sunday. Mr. Broderson was born in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, and was about 73 years old. He came to Washington county in the late sixties, settling up on Hill Creek where he continued to reside until several years ago when he moved to Oklahoma. He later moved back here and bought a home where he continued to reside until his death. He leaves an adopted son to mourn his death.
