#1-29 Sept., 1909 - The Pilot - Donald Cameron

Word was received yesterday that Don C. Cameron died at Dallas, S.D. of typhoid fever, and his mother, Mrs. M. Cameron, and his wife’s brother, Frank Curley, left for Dallas at once. A telegram this morning says they will bring the body here on the passenger train from the west this afternoon. The funeral will probably be held tomorrow. Don would have been 25 years of age the 25th of October had he lived to that time. About six years ago he was married to Miss Jessie Curley who survives him with one son, four years of age. Mrs. E. Z. Russell of this city and Mrs. W. N. Drake of Modale, Ia. are sisters, and Alfred Cameron of Gettysburg, S.D. is a brother.

DON CAMERON DIES AT DALLAS

The funeral of Don Cameron, who died in Dallas a week ago Monday, was held in Blair last Thursday. Mr. Cameron was sick only a few days and died from typhoid fever. He left here some time ago and went to Dallas where he entered the real estate business. He was nearly twenty five years old, and leaves a wife and child, a mother, Mrs. Mac Cameron, and two sisters, Mrs. E. Z. Russell of this city and Mrs. W. N. Drake of Modale, Iowa. He was married about six years ago to Miss Jessie Curley.

Death of Mack Cameron

Word was received in Arlington Wednesday that Mack Cameron, a former Washington county farmer, had died at Dallas S. D., the day before and that the remains would pass through town on the evening train, bound for Blair, where the funeral will take place to-day.

Mrs E. Z Russell, of Blair, a sister of the deceased, met the funeral party here, and returned to Blair with them. Mr. Cameron was for a number of years a successful Washington County farmer near Herman. About two years ago he moved to Dallas, S. D. where he has since resided.
