The remains of Arthur Bowen arrived in Blair last Thursday and were laid to rest in the cemetery east of town, short services being conducted at the grave by Rev. Burkhardt. Deceased was a son of Judge Bowen and will be remembered by a number of our older citizens. For the past thirty years Mr. Bowen has been a prospector with headquarters at Denver. His sisters, Miss Lucy Bowen of Philadelphia and Mrs. Smiley of Omaha had come to Blair for a visit, and they had only arrived here when the news of their brother’s death reached them.
