INFANT DIES ON WAY TO BLAIR

The infant child of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Dean of Ashton, Ill. died on the train near Ames, Iowa Friday night about 9:30 while its parents were on their way to Blair to visit with Mrs. Dean’s parents, Mrs. and Mrs. H. C. Blanchard.

The little one was nineteen weeks old and had not been well for some time, and it was in the hopes that a change of climate would benefit it that a trip was made to Blair. Advices of the family physician were to the effect that the little tot would stand the trip and would in all probability regain its health out here. But it was not to be, and the remains were brought to Blair, and services held Saturday, the remains being left at the undertaker’s until Mrs. Dean is able to travel with them, when they will be taken back to Ashton for burial.
