Mrs. Fred Sylvis died at the home of her mother, Mrs. Sheets, in northeast Blair, last Saturday, of consumption. Mrs. Sylvis has been in failing health for the past year and about two months ago came to Blair where she could place herself under the doctor's care.

She leaves immediate members of her family, a husband and a small boy, about two years old.

The funeral took place yesterday afternoon at the family residence, Rev. S. C. Green officiating.

Mrs. Sylvis was 20 years, 6 months and 10 days old and has been married since July '95.
