A GARRYOWEN PIONEER DIES

Father O’Driscoll went down to Omaha Tuesday morning to preach the funeral sermon over the remains of John Kelly, a well known farmer living in Garryowen near Coffman, who died Saturday at the advanced age of nearly 100 years. Mr. Kelly is survived by two sons, Dan and Michael, who resided with him, and a daughter, who resided at Butte, Mont., and who will come home for the funeral. Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday morning at 7:30. Later in the forenoon services were held at the Church of the Holy Family in Omaha. Interment was in St. Mary’s cemetery, South Omaha, where the wife of the deceased was buried some years ago.
