ATTENDS FUNERAL

Victor Hogan came up from Tulsa, Oklahoma to attend the funeral of his father who was buried Wednesday. The old gentleman was one of the early settlers of the county, having come here in the ’60’s and settled on a farm in the northwestern part of the county where he continued to reside until a few years ago when he moved over in Burt county. Some time the fore part of this year he was taken sick with pneumonia which later developed into Bright’s disease. He was 77 years old and up to the time of his last sickness had never had a doctor wait on him. Victor was in Blair Saturday renewing old acquaintances, and went out to spend Sunday at the home of his sister Mrs. Olin Athan, before returning to the south.
