MRS. W. K. FOWLER DIES

Mrs. Ada F. Fowler, wife of former State Superintendent W. K. Fowler, died at the family residence, 1521 So. Twenty Second street, Lincoln, Neb., last Friday morning at 4 o’clock after an illness of only one day. The services were held at the residence at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct 6. Interment at Wyuka cemetery.

Mrs. Fowler, who before her marriage was Ada F. Parker, was born in Logan, Ohio June 13, 1871 where she resided until 1883 when she came to Scribner, Nebraska. She was married to W. K. Fowler September 26, 1889 at Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 1883 Mr. Fowler took the superintendency of the schools of Blair, which position he held until he was elected state superintendent of public instruction, taking up his duties as such in Lincoln where they have resided for the past seven years. Mrs. Fowler is survived by her husband, four children, Marie, Kirk, Frank and ???????aged 16, 14, 11 and 7 years respectfully, her mother, Mrs. ???? Parker, and one sister Mrs. ????? English of Omaha, besides many warm friends throughout Nebraska and Ohio where she ?????? known.
