Died on 3/1/1907

#1-4 Mar., 1907 - The Pilot - Julie A. (Lewis) Wisdom

After intense suffering for months from some form of rheumatic troubles, Mrs. George Wisdom died Thursday night. Some months ago she was taken to Omaha where she had one of her limbs amputated in the hope of checking the disease, and while she was temporarily improved, her condition was soon as bad as before and for months she has patiently suffered. She was a good woman with many warm friends who did what they could for her during her suffering, and no doubt lifted the burden materially that she bore during the months of suffering. The funeral was held at the house Saturday morning at nine o’clock, Rev. G. C. Conley officiating. The body was taken to the home of her parents in Iowa.

#2-7 Mar., 1907 - Blair Democrat - Mrs. George Wisdom

Mrs. George Wisdom died last Thursday night, and her remains were taken to Logan, Iowa for interment Saturday. Mrs. Wisdom had been a great sufferer for the past year, but bore up bravely and was quite cheerful in all her afflictions. About a year ago she began to suffer great pain in one of her limbs and the doctors treated her for rheumatism, but she continued to get worse and several months ago she was taken to Omaha for treatment and her limb amputated just above the knee in the hope that it would stop the spread of the disease, but her hip was already affected and while she rallied some after this treatment, she soon grew worse again and suffered everything until death came to her relief.
