20 Sept., 1906 - Blair Democrat - Gottlieb Nuessler

Gottlieb Nuessler died last Sunday morning at the St. Joseph hospital in Omaha. As he was a member of the W.O.W. camp at this place, Counsel Commander W. Sievers immediately went to Omaha and brought the remains to Florence, at which place the members of the order took charge of the remains and brought them to the city hall. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at 3 o’clock, and interment made in the Calhoun cemetery. Mr. Nuessler had been sick for a number of years, and last spring went to the hospital where he remained until death came to his relief. Rev. Brother Woods preached the funeral sermon, and the Presbyterian choir rendered some very beautiful songs. Deceased was 44 years, six months and seven days old. As there were no trains running Monday, his relatives from outside could not get here in time to attend the funeral. The following morning one of his brothers arrived from Rock Island, Ill.
