#1-25 Sept., 1905 - The Pilot - Andrew H. Johnson

A telegram was received from Salt Lake City yesterday afternoon announcing the death of Andrew Johnson at 9:30 Sunday morning from injuries received Saturday while working on a pile driver. Mr. Johnson was about thirty years of age and had been working for several years as Salt Lake City. He was a member of Washington Lodge No. 21, A.F. & A.M. The body will arrive in Blair probably Wednesday, and will be accompanied by his brother, John C. Johnson. No particulars of his death have been received. The funeral will be held under the auspices of the Masonic fraternity.

#2-27 Sept., 1905 - The Pilot - Andrew H. Johnson

The funeral of Andrew H. Johnson, who was injured Saturday and died Sunday at Salt Lake City, Utah, will be held Friday afternoon at two o’clock from the home of Mrs. Crouch. The funeral will be under the auspices of the Masonic fraternity, and all members are expected to be at the Masonic hall at one o’clock Friday, from which place they will go in a body to the house.

#3-27 Sept., 1905 - Blair Courier - Andrew H. Johnson

Thomas Johnson received word last Saturday that his brother, Andrew, was severely hurt while working on a pile driver in Salt Lake City, and the chances were against his recovery. A telegram from John on Sunday announced Andrew’s death, and says he will bring the body to Blair for burial. The body will arrive in Omaha Thursday morning and will be brought here at 2:48. The funeral will be held at the home of Mrs. Thos. Crouch at 2:00 o’clock Friday afternoon under the Masonic auspices. John C. Johnson, it will be remembered, managed the Blair Clothing Co. for a good many years and was always an enthusiastic Mason, being Master at the time he left. One other brother, Martin, lives on a farm northwest of town, also a sister, Giena. The father and one brother live in Christiania, Norway.
