Edgar (Dr.) Bigsby
Died on 7/2/1905

5 July, 1905 - Blair Courier - Dr. E. Bigsby

Auro Bigsby received a telegram Friday morning from Beatrice that his father had suffered a paralytic stroke during the night and for him to come at once, which he did. Word was received Sunday that death had relieved him of his suffering that day, and that the body would be taken back to the old home in Kirksville, Mo. for burial. Dr. E. Bigsby was located here for several years and removed to Beatrice about a year ago. He was not an old man, probably about 60, but was strong and active and seemed good for many years yet when he left Blair. He leaves a wife and three sons, Frank, Aura and Glen to mourn the loss of a kind and loving husband and father. J. L. Pounds is taking Aura’s place in Ed Matthiessen’s store while he is absent on this sorrowful mission.
