Mrs. Ethel M. Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Demerit, departed this life Thursday morning, May 19th, at her home in Spokane, Wash. Death was due to heart and kidney troubles. Deceased was born in Dover, N.H. Dec. 11, 1882. The family soon after moved to Brockton, Mass., thence to Blair in 1886 where she passed her happy days of childhood, and was married to Mr. Jesse Davis of Blair 1901. A year later the family moved to Iowa City, Iowa and finally to Spokane, Wash. where her relatives still reside. She leaves a son, two years of age, a father, mother, brother and husband to mourn her untimely end.
