Howard J. Bohannon, 93, of Omaha, died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, in Omaha.

A Masonic service, conducted by Solomon Lodge No. 10, of Fort Calhoun, was held Monday, Oct. 10, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, at the funeral home. A private family interment will follow.

Howard J. Bohannon was born Aug. 2, 1918, in Craig.

He was married to Grace (McDowell) Bohannon.

He was a member of Solomon Lodge No. 10, and Capitol Lodge No. 3 in Omaha.

He is survived by his sister, Lucille Hoyt of Los Angeles, Calif.; special friend, Elaine Jones of Blair; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace; son, Hallet Earl Bohannon; daughter, Sandra Lee Reedy; brothers, Alvin and Floyd; sisters, Gayle Zancker and Nola Mae Culver.
