Died - At his home in Blair, Neb. on Thursday, Jan. 14, 1904 at 8 p.m., Mr. James Allen Kirk, of pneumonia, being 46 years, 2 months and 6 days old. The deceased was born in Gallen Co., Ill., Nov. 9, 1857. When a boy he came with his parents to Nebraska. On June 4, 1885 he was joined in marriage to Miss Susie Moffitt in this county. About two years ago he came to Blair. About two weeks ago he was taken with pneumonia of which he died. He leaves a wife and five children as well as many other relatives and friends to mourn their loss. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. B. Priest at the house on Saturday, June 16, at 10 a.m. May the Lord comfort the bereaved ones.
