Funeral services were Tuesday, March 13 at Ludvigsen Mortuary's Chapel for Ruby H. Eads of Fremont who died of a heart attack March 9, 1990, at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in Fremont. Rev. Paul Hoffman officiated. Burial was in Ridge Cemetery.

Ruby Vickers was born November 13, 1922, in Edgar and the family farm. She moved with her family to Brownville at the age of 13 and attended school there.

She married James Eads December 8, 1952, in Schuyler. They moved to Fremont after their marriage.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James on April 8, 1977.

She is survived by seven daughters, Bobbi Eads and Melody Eads, both of Fremont; Donna Schwenck and Shirley Patterson, both of Omaha; Judy Michael of Blair; Vineta Knudsen of Uehling and Patty Barley of Lancaster, California; two sons, Jim Eads of Columbus and Ron Michel of Edgar; five brothers, Harold Vickers, Omaha, Wayne Vickers and Bill Vickers, both of Auburn, Ray Vickers of Illinois and Byron Vickers of St. Paul, Minnesota; two sisters, Wilma Kaar of Omaha and Crystal Vickers of Auburn; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Ludvigsen Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
