Minnie Agnes (Nelson) Jarff, age 93, died at the Blair Hospital on October 1, 1985. She was born February 21, 1892 in the Swaburg area to John and Ingrid Nelson.

Sshe was baptized at Swaburg in June, 1918. She married Alex Jarff July 14, 1932 in Papillion.

They lived and farmed in the Craig area until retiring in Tekamah in 1961. They continued to be members at Elim Lutheran Church. Minnie had been active in the LCW as well as other events and activities of the church.

She is preceded in death by her husband Alex, who died in 1967. She is survived by her sister Valera Walters of Tekamah; as well as nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, October 4, at Elim Lutheran Church of Swaberg with Rev. James S. Lindgren officiating and Rev. David Nystrom of Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Tekamah assisting. Interment was in the Elim Lutheran Cemetery.

The organist was Mrs. Homer Uehling and Mrs. Ray Wedergren soloist.

Pallbearers were George Nelson, Eugene Johnson, Clarence Larson, Irwin Nelson, Dick Pearson, Walter Jahnel. Hamel and Peck Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
