ANNA K. JARMAN, 83

Former Blair resident Anna K. Jarman, 83, of Wahoo, died Thursday, May 6, 2004, at the Good Samaritan Center in Scribner.

Funeral services were Monday, May 10, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Interment was in Sunrise Cemetery in Wahoo.

Anna K. "Kay" Jarman was born July 20, 1920, in Pisgah, Iowa, to Jesse and Mary (Matthews) Watts. She married Wayne W. Jarman on June 29, 1939, in Hiawatha, Kan.

After her marriage, the couple lived in Council Bluffs, Iowa, until 1951, when they moved to South Dakota. They moved to Cedar Bluffs in 1953, and lived there until 1965. They moved to Dodge City and Wichita, Kan., then moved back to Cedar Bluffs in 1971. The Jarmans moved to Blair in 1975 before settling in Wahoo in 1986. Mrs. Jarman lived at Arbor Manor in Fremont for one month, then moved to the Good Samaritan Center in Scribner in July 2003.

Mrs. Jarman was a licensed practical nurse and had worked at Howards Home in Dodge City. She worked with the youth at the First Presbyterian Church in Cedar Bluffs.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Lucille Jarman of Cedar Bluffs; two grandchildren and their families; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Leonard; daughter, Heather; two brothers, Jesse and John Watts; and a sister, Harriet.

Moser Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
