Augusta Belle Rutledge, wife of D. F. Hogan, passed away last Sunday morning, May 14th, after only a few days’ illness. Deceased was born in 1880 in Yadkinville, Yadkin County, N.C. She came to Admah, Nebr. in 1900 with the family of Dr. Hauser, now of Hooper and was married to Daniel F. Hogan in 1904. She was a lady of sweet and generous disposition and to know her was to love her. Beside the sorrowing husband, she leaves two small children to mourn the loss of a kind and loving mother. The funeral service conducted by Rev. Elliott Tuesday from the house and at the Methodist church at Alder Grove. Interment was made in the cemetery by the church.
