Edith Florence (Arnold) Stewart
Died on 4/23/1908

29 Apr., 1908 - The Pilot - Edith (Arnold) Stewart

Mrs. Ferris Stewart, known here as Miss Edith Arnold, died at her home in Omaha last Thursday afternoon having been ill only since about 1 o’clock Wednesday afternoon. The real cause of her death was kidney trouble, though she gave premature birth to a little girl shortly before her death, and the baby is still living. Her sister, Mrs. Lola Sturgis, has taken the baby to raise. The funeral of the young mother was held at the residence on Saturday afternoon, Dean Beecher officiating, and interment made in Forest Lawn cemetery. Mrs. Stewart was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rice Arnold, formerly of this place, and grew to womanhood among us. The many friends of the family extend heartfelt sympathy in their sore bereavement.
