15 Apr., 1908 - The Pilot - Rev. J. P. Jensen

After an illness of several weeks’ duration, Rev. J. P. Jensen, president of Dana College and Trinity Seminary, died at 7:45 last Thursday morning and the body was taken to Weston, Ia. for interment. He was a young man, only 37 years of age, and was in many ways a gifted man. He seemed born to fill the position he was in and yet he has been called hence in the very prime of life. He was a native of Denmark and was graduated from Dana College in 1900. After three years in pastoral work he was called back to his alma mater in 1903, first as professor and then as head of the institution. He leaves a wife and three children who will make their future home in Weston, Ia.
