LEONARD JARMAN, 46

Leonard W. Jarman, 46, of Cedar Bluffs died of a heart attack in Morrill on July 12, 1987.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 1987, at Cedar Bluffs Presbyterian Church.

The Rev. Don Ball of Fremont will officiate.

Military graveside services will be conducted by members of Cedar Bluffs American Legion Post 158.

Moser Memorial Chapel on Cedar Bluffs is handling arrangements.

Jarman's parents, Wayne and Kay Jarman, just recently moved from Blair, where they lived for some time before moving to Wahoo. His grandparents were from Blair.

He was born June 4, 1941, at Council Bluffs, Iowa.

He lived in Council Bluffs and De Smet, South Dakota, before moving to Cedar Bluffs in 1953. He graduated from Cedar Bluffs High School in 1960, and then served in the US Navy for four years on the USS Argonaut submarine.

Jarman was employed by the Chicago and North Western Railroad Transportation Company, where he was a trainman and conductor. He was employed there for 20 years.

He was a member of the Morrill American Legion and a past commander of the Cedar Bluffs American Legion, as well as a member of the United Transportation Union.

On March 21, 1964, he married Lucille E. Johnson in Wahoo. She survives.

Other survivors include a son, Scott A Jarman of Cedar Bluffs; a daughter, Michelle R. Jarman of Kearney; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne (Kay) Jarman of Wahoo, and paternal grandmother, Jessie L. Jarman of Mitchell, South Dakota.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Heather Jo.
